Ultra seamless tape in hair extensions are made with a small tape in bond with no-sew lines that are super easy to disguise. This means that your tape-in extensions look seamless and discreet and lay flat.
Ultra seamless bonds are significantly smaller and lighter than traditional tape in bonds making them ideal for people with thinner hair. They are suitable for almost all hair types from thin to thick. Ultra seamless tape in hair extensions are the least damaging option for permanent hair extension.
You can use these extensions in conjunction with other hair extensions. Simply take a section of your own hair, and apply one thin skin weft above it, and one skin weft below. Think of it as “sandwiching” your natural hair! This means you can mix and match different wefts as well, creating your perfect final look.
These hair extensions are available in four unique lengths and over fifty colours. They should be installed professionally and last from 4 to 6 weeks before maintenance is needed. The hair can last up to a year wear with proper care.
All Superior Hair products are made with 100% Remy human hair. Ultra Seamless Tape in extensions are made using the highest quality virgin hair in the market, which is our top premium-grade hair as the hair cuticles are intact and aligned.
Please note: While we do our best to ensure product images accurately reflect each shade, actual colours may vary slightly due to differences in lighting, screen resolution, and device settings. If you're unsure, feel free to reach out or use a colour ring for the best match.

HOW DO YOU APPLY ULTRA SEAMLESS TAPE-IN EXTENSIONS?
Ultra seamless tape in extensions installation process involves separating and taking a section of your hair, applying one tape weft below it and one tape weft above it. This effectively sandwiches your natural hair between the two wefts.
All semi-permanent extensions should be applied in a salon by a certified professional. Although these extensions are some of the easiest to apply in our semi-permanent range, they must be installed correctly to avoid damage to your natural hair or the products themselves.
Professional installation usually takes around 1 hour.

What are Ultra Seamless Tape In Extensions?
Ultra Seamless Tape In Extensions are a lightweight, semi-permanent extension method designed to add length, volume and fullness with a flat, discreet finish. Each weft is 4cm wide and applied in a sandwich using professional extension tape. They are available in 14” (22g), 18” (28g), 22” (30g) and 26” (35g).

What colour hair extensions should I use?
What colour hair extensions should I use?
Choose a shade that’s as close as possible to your natural hair around halfway down the strand, rather than matching the roots or ends.
For the best match, we recommend using our online colour matching service. You can also send us photos of your hair in natural lighting and our team will be happy to help.
How many packs of Ultra Seamless Tape In Extensions do I need?
How many packs of Ultra Seamless Tape In Extensions do I need?
The number of packs you need depends on your natural hair thickness and the amount of length and volume you want.
For a subtle increase in volume, you may need fewer packs, while longer or fuller looks may require more.
Your stylist can recommend the right number of packs based on your natural hair, desired result and the look you want to achieve.
How are Ultra Seamless Tape In Extensions applied?
How are Ultra Seamless Tape In Extensions applied?
Ultra Seamless Tape In Extensions are applied professionally using a sandwich method, where a section of your natural hair is placed between two extension wefts.
The application involves:
- Sectioning the natural hair.
- Applying the tape-in wefts to the section.
- Pressing the two sides together to create a secure bond.
- Repeating throughout the desired areas.
A full installation typically takes around 1 hour, depending on the number of packs being applied.
We recommend professional installation to ensure the extensions are positioned correctly and the appropriate amount of natural hair supports each bond.
How long do they last and do they need maintenance?
How long do they last and do they need maintenance?
Ultra Seamless Tape In Extensions need regular professional maintenance as your natural hair grows.
We recommend having your extensions repositioned approximately every 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural hair growth and maintenance routine.
The hair can be reused with fresh tape, provided it remains in good condition. Your stylist can remove, retape and reposition the extensions during your maintenance appointment.
Will they damage my natural hair or slip out?
Will they damage my natural hair or slip out?
When professionally installed, correctly maintained and properly cared for, Ultra Seamless Tape In Extensions are designed to sit comfortably and securely against the natural hair.
The lightweight tape bonds help create a flat, discreet attachment. Correct sectioning and placement are important to avoid unnecessary tension on your natural hair.
If you notice a weft becoming loose or slipping before your maintenance appointment, avoid pulling or adjusting it yourself and contact your stylist so it can be checked.
How do I wash and care for my extensions?
How do I wash and care for my extensions?
A consistent aftercare routine will help keep your extensions soft, smooth and looking their best.
Always:
- Use sulphate-free and alcohol-free hair products.
- Wash your hair gently, avoiding rough scrubbing around the tape bonds.
- Apply conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends only.
- Keep conditioner and oils away from the tape bonds.
- Brush gently, starting from the ends and working upwards.
- Use an extensions-friendly brush.
- Apply heat protectant before using hot tools.
- Make sure your roots and tape bonds are completely dry after washing.
For best results:
- Avoid washing your hair every day where possible.
- Wash your hair in a downward direction to help prevent tangling.
- Allow your hair to dry completely before going to bed.
- Loosely braid or tie your hair before sleeping.
- Attend your maintenance appointments on time.
Can I sleep, swim, style or colour my extensions?
Can I sleep, swim, style or colour my extensions?
Yes, but a little extra care will help protect both the hair and the tape bonds.
Sleep: Loosely braid or tie your hair before bed and never sleep with wet or damp hair.
Swim: We recommend avoiding swimming where possible. Chlorine and salt water can dry out the hair and may affect the tape bonds. If your hair gets wet, rinse thoroughly with fresh water afterwards.
Style: You can curl, straighten and style the extensions as they are made from 100% human hair. Always use heat protectant and keep direct heat away from the tape bonds.
Colour: We do not recommend bleaching or lightening the extensions. If you want to tone or colour them, speak with your stylist first and always strand test before applying any colour.
Can I swim while wearing Ultra Seamless Tape In hair extensions?
Can I swim while wearing Ultra Seamless Tape In hair extensions?
We recommend avoiding swimming while wearing your extensions. Salt water and pool chemicals can dry out the hair, cause tangling and may affect the tape bonds.
If your extensions do get wet, rinse your hair thoroughly with fresh water and allow it to dry properly.
How should I care for my Ultra Seamless Tape In extensions?
How should I care for my Ultra Seamless Tape In extensions?
A little extra care will help keep your extensions looking their best. Use sulphate-free and alcohol-free hair products, an extension-friendly brush and heat protectant when styling. Avoid direct heat on the roots and tape bonds, brushing wet hair, washing your hair daily and applying conditioner or oils directly to the roots and bonds. Be gentle when drying, brushing and styling, and loosely braid or tie your hair before bed.
