What colour hair extensions should I use?
What colour hair extensions should I use?
Choose a shade that’s as close as possible to your natural hair around halfway down the strand, rather than matching the roots or ends.
For the best match, we recommend using our online colour matching service. You can also send us photos of your hair in natural lighting and our team will be happy to help.

Can I use different tape-in methods together?
Can I use different tape-in methods together?
Different tape-in methods can be used together, depending on your hair type and the result you’re looking for.
Combining different methods can help create a more customised blend. Your stylist can advise on the most suitable combination and placement for your hair.
For example, Ultra Seamless Tape and Invisi Tape can be used together where appropriate. Your stylist should make sure the combination feels comfortable and does not create unnecessary weight or bulk.
What’s the difference between Classic Clip In Extensions and Seamless Clip In Extensions?
What’s the difference between Classic Clip In Extensions and Seamless Clip In Extensions?
Both are temporary clip-in options, but the weft construction and overall feel are different.
Our Classic Clip In sets feature traditional wefts with individual clips and are available in a range of lengths and weights. They are a versatile option for adding length, volume or fullness.
Our Seamless Clip In sets feature flatter, seamless wefts designed to sit closer to the head. They are available in higher weights, making them a popular choice for customers looking for more volume.
Both options can be removed after wear and should not be worn while sleeping.
What’s the difference between Traditional Weft, Genius Weft, and Butterfly Weft extensions?
What’s the difference between Traditional Weft, Genius Weft, and Butterfly Weft extensions?
All three are weft-style extensions, but they differ in their construction and application method.
Traditional Wefts have a machine-made construction with a more substantial seam. They are a classic weft option and can be installed using methods such as sewing and silicone-lined microbeads.
Genius Wefts have a slimmer construction and can be cut along the seam without the weft unraveling. They offer a flexible option for stylists who want to customise the placement and amount of hair.
Butterfly Weft
Butterfly Wefts use a flat base with pre-punched butterfly holes and are installed using silicone-lined microbeads. The weft is folded over the beads during installation, helping to keep the attachment discreet.
We now offer both Genius Butterfly Weft and Invisi Butterfly Weft. The Invisi version is an updated design using an Invisi base, developed to provide a refined and discreet finish while keeping the same butterfly-hole installation method.
Your stylist can recommend the most suitable weft based on your natural hair, desired result and preferred installation method.
Clip In Extensions or Halo Hair Extensions?
Clip In Extensions or Halo Hair Extensions?
Both Clip In and Halo Extensions are temporary options, but they are applied differently.
Clip In Extensions use individual wefts with clips that are placed throughout the hair. They are a versatile choice if you want to customise where you add length and volume.
Halo Extensions use a main weft that sits around the head with a flexible wire, along with additional clip-in pieces to help blend the hair.
Both can be removed after wear. Your choice will depend on your preferred application method, hairstyle and the amount of volume or length you want to achieve.
Can I style my hair extensions with hot tools?
Can I style my hair extensions with hot tools?
Yes. Our human hair extensions can be styled with hot tools in the same way as natural hair.
Always apply a heat protectant before styling and avoid excessive heat. For methods with bonds, beads, tape or other attachment areas, keep direct heat away from the attachments.
Can I dye or tone my hair extensions?
Can I dye or tone my hair extensions?
Human hair extensions can technically be coloured or toned, but because the hair has already been processed, we strongly recommend choosing the closest shade initially and avoiding chemical processing wherever possible.
Never bleach or lighten the extensions. Any colouring is done at your own risk and may affect the quality and lifespan of the hair.
We recommend consulting a professional stylist if you are considering colouring your extensions.
How should I wash my extensions?
How should I wash my extensions?
Your washing routine will depend on the type of extensions you have, but a gentle approach will help keep the hair in good condition.
Use sulphate-free shampoo and alcohol-free hair products. Gently cleanse the hair without rubbing or tangling it, then apply conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends.
Avoid brushing wet hair and be gentle when drying. Apply a deep conditioner or hair mask to the mid-lengths and ends as needed.
For temporary extensions such as Clip Ins and Halos, remove the extensions before washing your natural hair unless the product instructions specifically say otherwise.
How often should I wash my hair extensions?
How often should I wash my hair extensions?
Avoid washing extensions unnecessarily, as frequent washing can affect the condition of the hair over time.
For temporary extensions, remove them before washing whenever possible. For semi-permanent extensions, follow the care advice provided by your stylist for your specific installation method.
Can I swim while wearing hair extensions?
Can I swim while wearing hair extensions?
We recommend avoiding swimming while wearing your extensions wherever possible. Chlorine and salt water can affect the condition of human hair and may also affect certain attachment methods.
If you do swim, follow the specific aftercare guidance for your extension method and take extra care when detangling and washing afterwards.
Can I sleep while wearing hair extensions?
Can I sleep while wearing hair extensions?
This depends on the type of extensions you have.
Temporary extensions such as Clip Ins and Halos should be removed before sleeping. For semi-permanent extensions, follow your stylist's advice for your specific installation method.
Where appropriate, loosely braid or tie your hair before bed and make sure it is completely dry before sleeping.
